Eyeglasses and Contacts Eyeglasses and Contacts was my first project and is basically an ecommerce website that used to compete in the online eyewear space. My role in this project was more business than web related as I was the only person managing it and there was a large amount of customer service required. Essentially, this project is where I got my feet wet in a lot of areas of Internet Marketing including SEO and PPC.
T91 PHP Scripts T91 is a package of 91 open source PHP scripts sold for less than ten dollars. Averaging out at around 20 sales per month (with virtually no overhead), this site pays my cable and Internet bills. Essentially what I did here was purchase a package of 83 PHP scripts on eBay and (because they are all GNU/GPL-licensed) posted them up for sale on t91.org (after adding eight extra scripts of course).
Search Marketing Search Marketing can appear to be just another Google Custom Search Engine however a closer look will reveal it to be a very powerful tool if used the way it was intended. For example, a search filtered by the label, "Google Employees" will return results only from sites owned/maintained by official Google employees. There's also an AJAX driven news reader tool for conveniently browsing authority feeds.
Content Network Content Network is my humble contribution to the article syndication ring. This is one of the very first websites I put together back when I had no idea what PHP was or worse yet, how to virtually include files on a webpage. It doesn't get a whole lot of traffic these days but it's still up and generating a small monthly income from the Google Adsense advertisements so I'm keeping it active.
Sin by Silence Moro Eyecare is the website I built for my dad to promote his optometry practices in Monterey and Salinas area. The website is basically an online brochure that has generated a increase of 15% in average monthly revenue. For this project, I was responsible for everything including creative, development, and SEO. Currently, moroeyecare.com holds a variety of number one placements for its primary keywords.
